Have a

Somatic

Experience

In Ancient Greek, sôma refers to the physical body, but is also often used to describe the embodiment of the soul, bridging the material and immaterial aspects of existence.

In biology, the soma is the central portion of the neuron that contains the cell nucleus, integrates incoming signals, and maintains metabolic functions.

The human body’s fascial network contains millions of sensory nerve endings that receive information from its environment, and these fluid-filled energetic channels link the mind, the physical body, and the emotions.

Both ancient and modern frameworks recognize the body as an interconnected web where stress, trauma, and movement alter the physical, mental, and emotional state.

Somatic therapy, informed by science andtraditional healing modalities, explores sensation to bypass the analytical mind and access deep internal knowing. Over time, this practice of attunement will release trapped energy and allow the internal navigation system to orient more quickly and more fluidly to its sources of safety and balance.
